The climate of Phoenix is characterized by dry and warm temperatures. Winters average in the 70s, while summers are hot, with temperatures reaching up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The city is almost always sunny, and the average rainfall is less than 8 inches per year, almost equally split between the winter and summer months.
